The purpose of this site is to allow the Township of Abington’s citizens, customers or any victim of a crime that occurred within the Township limits, to file police reports online. This form is for NON-EMERGENCY / NOT IN PROGRESS incident reports. An officer will not see your report in real time and will not respond to your location. You will receive a telephone call from a department representative the beginning of the next business day.
Before you proceed, you should be aware that it is a crime to make a false police report and all instances of of false reports will be prosecuted. This online reporting system is only to be used to report a limited set of criminal incidents with very specific criteria. The types of crimes that may be reported using this system are below. Crimes that may be reported using this feature:
- Abandoned Auto
- Animal Complaints
- Child Custody Report – Failure to comply with Judges order ONLY
- Criminal Mischief/Vandalism – No loss
- Credit Card Fraud
- Harassment by Communication
- Hit and Run Crash to unoccupied property
- Identity Theft/Fraud – Phone or Internet
- Non-Active Traffic Complaint
- Non-Active Suspicious Activity
- Parking Complaint
- Police Information
- Reports for Insurance Purposes
- Thefts under $2,000.00
- Theft of a Bicycle
All other reports should be made to an officer in-person at your home or business by calling 9-1-1 or at the Abington Township Police Department.
