Burglary Arrest

On January 17, 2023 at 1258 hours, Abington Police officers responded to a report of an attempted residential burglary in the 1800 block of Foothill Drive. This is located in the Huntingdon Valley section of Abington Township. It was determined that a white male suspect, believed to be wearing a disguise, attempted to force entry into the home. A resident of the home slammed the door shut, causing the suspect to drop what was believed to be a firearm. The suspect collected the firearm and fled the scene. Police believed that the suspect was familiar with this home and targeted these victims.

Through investigation, and after following several leads, police arrested Daniel Garvin of the 1200 block of Faunce Street in Philadelphia for the incident. Daniel Garvin has been charged with Burglary and related offenses.
