At approximately 8:00 PM on December 16, 2013, a female shopper was knocked to the ground and had her pocketbook stolen as she exited MACY’S onto the second level parking lot at Willow Grove Park Mall. The victim states that the suspect came up behind her and knocked her to the ground, injuring her nose, mouth, lips, teeth, hands and knees. The 66 year old victim was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment. The suspect pulled the victim’s pocketbook from her shoulder and escaped with it. Immediately after the robbery one of the victim’s credit cards was used at the Wawa on Moreland Road by a male in a dark colored, hooded sweatshirt who is pictured below and on the following page. The suspect arrived at the Wawa as a passenger in a maroon late 90’s to early 2000’s four door sedan which is also pictured.
