Abington and Lower Moreland Police to Conduct Aggressive-Driving Enforcement Ahead of Holiday and Back to School
King of Prussia – The Abington Township Police Department and Lower Moreland Township Police Department will conduct aggressive-driving enforcement activities through the Labor Day holiday along Route 611, Route 63 and County Line Road to target aggressive and distracted drivers.
The enforcement mobilization is part of a statewide initiative that runs through Aug. 31 and is part of PennDOT’s Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project.
Statewide, over 330 municipal police agencies as well as the Pennsylvania State Police will focus on red light running, tailgating and speeding during the enforcement wave. Motorists exhibiting other unsafe behaviors such as distracted driving, or violating Pennsylvania’s School Bus Stopping Law will also be cited.
