Abington Township Police Department Announces June Traffic Safe-T Enforcement Program

Abington Township will be conducting its bi-annual Traffic Safe-T Program beginning Saturday, June 1st and ending Sunday, June 30^th, 2019. This program is a community-wide initiative involving the Township Board of Commissioners, the Township Administration, Police Department, residents and neighborhood groups. The two major components of the program are:

1. Driver Education
2. Increased Traffic Enforcement

Participation is easy! Simply follow these steps:

• Request a sign from your Commissioner or the Abington Township Traffic Safety Unit at 267-536-1078.
• Place the “KIDS AT PLAY sign on your lawn between June 1^st and 30^th, 2019.
• Remove the sign from your lawn on July 1^st, 2019, and store in a dry location for use during the September 2019, enforcement program.
