Abington Township Police Department Announces September Traffic Safe-T Enforcement Program

Abington Township will be conducting its bi-annual Traffic Safe-T Program beginning Sunday, September 1st and ending Monday, September 30^th, 2019. This program is a community-wide initiative involving the Township Board of Commissioners, the Township Administration, Police Department, residents and neighborhood groups. The two major components of the program are:

1. Driver Education
2. Increased Traffic Enforcement

Participation is easy! Simply follow these steps:

• Request a sign from your Commissioner or stop by and pick one up at the Abington Township Police Records and Information Division in the Abington Township Building.
• Place the “KIDS AT PLAY sign on your lawn between September 1^st and 30^th, 2019.
• Remove the sign from your lawn on October 1^st, 2019, and store in a dry location for use during the June 2020, enforcement program.
