Abington Township Police Department Welcomes Its Newest Officer!
Congratulation to Abington’s newest officer, Officer Kenneth Witter. Before joining our Department, Ken served as a Police Dispatcher for the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety. Ken is a graduate of Norristown High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Communications. Ken played football at IUP and, upon graduation, played wide receiver for Colorado Ice in the Arena Football League. On February 9th of this year, Ken graduated from Temple University’s Municipal Police Academy, where he served as one of the class sergeants. Ken was born and raised in the Norristown area, where he currently resides with his wife and three children. Ken is a certified PIAA basketball referee and active in his local youth sports organizations. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming Ken Witter to the ranks of Abington’s finest.
