Bank Robbery Arrest

On February 10, 2022, the Abington Santander Bank, located at 1415 Old York Rd., was robbed by a suspect who presented a demand note to tellers. Abington Detectives were able to identify the suspect through forensics as 22-year-old Moliere Joseph, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Detectives spent weeks trying to track down Moliere, who did not have a fixed address. Detectives were in contact with family members, who were working to get Mr. Joseph to turn himself in to the police (Joseph also had an active arrest warrant for robbery in Philadelphia). On Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 2030 hours, he turned himself in to Abington Police, and is scheduled to be arraigned on March 16. Bail is pending.
