Bank Robbery Arrest – TD Bank, 710 Old York Road, Jenkintown

At approximately 12:30 PM on February 2, 2017, the suspect pictured below walked into the TD Bank and gave the 26 year old female Assistant Head Teller a note that had written on it; “Give me the money”. The suspect repeated several times; “Give me the F%$&#% money!” The suspect reached into his jacket and pulled out a reusable bag like the type used when grocery shopping and said to the victim; “I have a gun and I will shoot you!” The victim handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of US currency and the suspect fled the bank on foot in a southerly direction on Old York Road. No weapon was actually seen and there were no injuries. The money was discarded by the suspect in the parking lot of Cloverly Plaza and all money was recovered.
On February 12, 2017 at 3:00 AM, Abington Police and Philadelphia Police arrested without incident 41 year old Tito WILLIAMS, of the 6700 block of Chew Ave., Philadelphia. WILLIAMS peacefully surrendered himself to police after seeing his photo on news reports. WILLIAMS is being charged with robbery and related offenses and his being held by Abington Police pending his preliminary arraignment.
