Don’t be a Victim of Theft from Auto

Over the last few weeks there has been a significant increase in theft from vehicles in Abington Township, specifically in the Roslyn and Glenside sections. On April 23, 2016 officers arrested a male for theft from vehicle in the area of Stanley and Oakdale Aves, yet the thefts are still continuing. Most recently, on May 1st, there was an attempted theft from vehicle in the 1400 block of Edgewood Ave.

These thefts occurred overnight and involved vehicles that were left unlocked. Please remember to lock your car and not to leave valuables such as purses, wallets or electronics in plain view.  Any person who may have information regarding these thefts or observes any suspicious activity is requested to contact Abington Police.
