Enforcement of Governor Wolf’s Non-Life-Sustaining Business Closures by Local Officials

Thank you for your cooperation with being in compliance with Governor Wolf’s unprecedented order of closing ALL Non-Life-Sustaining businesses. The Abington Township Police Department is committed to the community, and we will remain flexible in our enforcement efforts. In cooperation with the Montgomery County District Attorneys Office, the Abington Township Police Department is working with other local municipalities to formulate a coordinated response to complaints of non-compliance. We are happy to report that businesses that have received official notice have been cooperative, and we anticipate the same cooperation in the future. This letter represents an example of our coordinated effort. We continue to be grateful for your compliance during these extraordinary times. We also know that such closures are extremely difficult to those business owners and employees who are suffering a significant financial loss at this time.
