Fatal Car Crash

At approximately 1:59 AM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time) on November 1, 2015, a one vehicle, fatal car crash occurred at 1837 Old York Road, Abington. Witnesses state that
the BMW convertible was traveling north in the area near the 7-11 Store when it just appeared to drift off the side of the road. The vehicle struck a pole and then a dumpster
before rolling on its side and sliding into a utility pole. The passenger, a 38 year old female from Hatboro did not appear to be seriously injured and was transported to
Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment. The operator, 35 year old Jeffrey CRESCENZO of Ambler was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and there were no other injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Abington Police.
