Fatal Pedestrian Crash

Case # 19-049149

 At approximately 5:15 pm on Monday, December 16, 2019 a forty-one-year-old male, who was crossing Old Welsh Road in the vicinity of Cummings Avenue, was struck by a vehicle. This male was immediately transported to Abington Jefferson Health Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.  This accident remains under investigation by the Abington Township Police Department. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.

CRIMINAL CHARGES, AND ANY DISCUSSION THEREFORE, ARE MERELY ALLEGATIONS AND ALL DEFENDANTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL AND UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY.
