Aggravated Assault
On Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 7:00 AM, the below pictured male suspect entered a laundromat in the Roslyn section of Abington Township, and brutally attacked a female who was folding clothes. The male punched the victim in the face several times causing lacerations, swelling and fractured bones. The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital due to the severity of her injuries. The victim does not know this suspect and has never seen him previously. The male fled the area eastbound on Woodland Road. In addition to the clothing the suspect is wearing, he was carrying a blue shopping bag of some kind. It is believed that the suspect is homeless and frequents the Roslyn and Abington areas. Officers are on high alert, but the Abington Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying or locating this suspect. If anyone recognizes the suspect or is familiar with his possible whereabouts, contact Detective Pettinato at (267)536-1098. If the suspect is seen, do not approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately.
