During the encounter, officers discharged their firearms, striking a male suspect. Aid was immediately rendered, and the suspect was transported to Abington Jefferson Hospital for medical treatment. The police department has recently been notified that the suspect is deceased. The adult female victim, her child, and the officers were not injured.
