Residential Burglary
On December 21, at 11:03 am, Abington Police responded to a 911 call from a witness who observed a male enter a backyard of home in the 1200 block of Highland Ave, break a window, and enter the house. Officers arrived, surrounded the house, and quickly determined that the suspect was still inside. Upon seeing the Officers outside the home, the suspect fled out the front door carrying jewelry he had stolen from inside. He attempted to flee but was quickly taken into custody by officers after a brief struggle.
The suspect has been identified as Keith Andrew Weisel from Horsham, Pa. In addition to Burglary and related offenses, Weisel is also being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He has been transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
