Robbery – TD Bank – 1428 Old York Road, Abington

On January 20, 2017 at 5:20 PM, the suspect pictured below walked into the TD Bank located at 1428 Old York Road Abington Township and presented a teller with a demand note which stated that it was an “armed robbery”. The suspect then handed the teller a blue and white nylon drawstring backpack and stated “put the money in there”. The teller placed an undisclosed amount of money in the bag and handed it back to the suspect. The suspect then fled the scene on foot headed south on Old York Road towards Keith Road. Further investigation revealed that the suspect’s vehicle is possibly a dark colored Honda Ridgeline with what appeared to be white rectangular business signs on the sides of the vehicle. The suspect is described as a male, 5’8 to 6’0 tall, dark hair, wearing dark pants, white sneakers and a grey jacket. No weapon was actually displayed and there were no injuries.
