Winter Storm Warning

The NWS issued a Winter Storm Warning for the approaching storm, beginning at midnight tonight and running through 4 pm tomorrow. The temps will drop after sundown tonight and reach the low 30’s after midnight. It will start as rain after midnight and transition to all snow after 3 am. When it does make the change, it will be a wet, heavy snow. It will also hamper visibility as it will fall at 1-2” per hour at times. The heaviest snow will be during the morning commute tomorrow.

The snow should end for the most part around noon. Approximately 4-8” total are expected. It should all melt by Sunday night as it will hit the high 50’s on Sunday.
